Elephants Drift Main Camp is charming and rustic, consisting of a number of separate thatched buildings arranged around a large central lawn. It is situated on a riverbed under huge shady trees. After good summer rains the small dam on which the ca mp is situated pushes water up to the edge of the outdoor living area
The camp was rebuilt and refurbished in early 2010 and consists of 5 large en-suite rooms, with private verandas and secluded bush views. One of these is a family room, which sleeps up to 5. There is a comfortable lounge, bar and dining area, a covered barbeque area near the river waterhole, and a swimming pool.
At Elephants Drift individual rooms can be booked on a full-board basis for one or more people. You are also able to book exclusive use of the whole camp for groups of 4 to 10 people on either a self-catering or fully-catered basis and at discounted and affordable rates. Two game drives or walks a day are included with all options.
