The Guest house in Cape Victorian Style, was the townhouse of Mr. Reitz, a gouvernor in the early ages of 1900. Family Reitz lived actuality on a farm in the Overberg region. They visited the town on church days,and stayed for a few days at The Old Thatch Lodge. That was long ago, but still today the atmosphaere in and around the Guest house is like in the old days.
So enjoy your stay in our beautiful accommodations and relax at our lounge with open fireplace. Your breakfast will be served inside the guest house lounge or outside on the green terrace under the thatch roof.

My NECTARINE SUITE, a big family suite for 4 people, with a lounge with TV (SABC 1,2,3 and e-tv), the sleeping area have a big double bed and over a few steps you come up to a open galerie where you find 2 single beds. The suite have a separate entrance from the garden with a small terrasse in front, and en suite bathroom with shower and bath facilities. The price for 2 persons are R 410,- per person per night incl. breakfast, a third person would cost R 320,- per night incl. breakfast. When 4 people staying in the Suite the price per person is R 320,- per night incl. breakfast

my APRICOT SUITE, a cosy honey moon suite with a double bed and TV (SABC 1,2,3 and e-tv), a separate entrance from the garden and en suite bathroom with a shower for R 355,- per person per night incl. breakfast. Single price R 470,- incl. breakfast per night.

the ORANGE room, a double room with a large double bed (two matrasses) and en suite bathroom with shower in the mainhouse for R 330,- per person per night incl. breakfast. Single price R 430,- incl. breakfast per night.

the MANGO room, a double room in the main house with 2 single beds and en suite bathroom with bath and shower facilities for R 330,- per person per night incl. breakfast. Single price R 430,- per night incl. breakfast.
