ADDO | VALLEY BUSHVELD COUNTRY LODGE is an owner managed four star, safari-style Country Lodge and Bed and Breakfast close to Addo Elephant National Park. The Lodge is built on the banks of the Coegas River and is situate d on a private game reserve which boasts over 17 species of wild game animals and antelope. The Lodge is off the main R75 en-route to Addo.
The main lodge consists of central dining area, huge stylish lounge with fire place and a bar area which all overlooks the river. On each side of the main building we have a total of 5 double rooms which sleeps two per room. Each room is furnished with high quality linen and furniture. Our lodge promises exquisite, once in a lifetime scenery and sunset with fine dining, traditional cuisine, stylishly decorated rooms and en-suite bathrooms, allows you to relax completely. We offer our guests a variety of delicious specialities and serve a wide variety of game such as kudu, Impala, Ostrich Neck Casserole, Karoo Lamb and springbuck are on the menu. We are in close proximity from renowned reserves like Addo Elephant National Park, Schotia Safaris and the Cheetah Breeding farm and Elephant Back safaris. An absolute favourite among guests is to arrange a 2 or 3 day stay with us and to use our Lodge as a base camp from where we organize day trips to the Addo National Elephant Park or any of the other game parks. The ultimate of course, is to combine a trip to the Addo National Elephant Park and the Cheetah farm with Lion cubs. We know the area best so it is useful if we assist you in planning your safe routes. During the cold winter evenings, you will always find a fire going in the huge fireplace inside where guests can enjoy the story telling and in the summer time a nice South African cold beer out on the patio-deck. Guests can spoil themselves in the Jacuzzi while sipping on fine South African wines. The Lodge is on a private reserve so guided walks can be arranged or explore the reserve by yourself.
